This is my very first tab, and I do not really know
	all the symbols
This song appears to be tuned to a lower key.
Dont know which key but E is played open a lot so tune to that...

o.k/ I use to be a guitar player and just recently decided I want to play again for the first time in 15 years. This song is one of the things that inspired me as i am a retired medal head who has always listened to country and when I heard this it's like the 2 worlds have met in the middle. So i've been knocking around on my acoustic for a couple weeks and decided I have to learn this song so I break out my paul and decide this is how i'm spending my day off. The first time I heard it I thought they were tuned down but thats so not country. Any way i have also heard about these guitar tabs so I thought i would check this out. Not much information, I guess this is information for playing the chords or something. Any way I start grinding with the cd and I figure out this is in Eb so I'm pretty sure these guys think they're motley crew and tuned down to A 438. Cant get the lick to sound right playing out of Eb. So I check out this tab and tod says to tune your e string open to it, and I tried that. (for 4 hours) and nothing is making since. Nobody would tune down a full step. I finally figured out that if you tune A 438 the song is played in d and they never hit the low e open. The tasty little lick the song is built around starts on the open d string tuned down like this and it all makes since. What fooled tod i think on the open E string and this is wierd but I caught it later on a vidio of them playing it live, is on the long version of the song at the end the guy playing lead actually reaches up and tunes his big E string down another step at the end so he is bouncing open E to to the 3rd fret to the 5th fret and pulling it. The rest of the song the chord progression is D to F to G tuned at A 438. Hope this helps cause this probably the only time I'm gonna use these tab things. And since I dont play live or nothin anymore I will probably never play this song again cause Im not gonna tune down to doit, but i guess while I'm tuned down I'm gonna crank up the crate 1 last time and play shout at the devil for a few minutes. That should freak out the wife. Then I'm going back to 440.
Peace Billy

that's a novel not a comment and the correct tuning is Drop Db.
