ALABAMA PINES - Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit

Capo 4

[Intro] C

[Verse]
C Cmaj9
Well I moved into this room, if you could call it that, a week ago.
Am
I never do what I'm supposed to do.
           Am7 Fmaj7
I hardly even know my name anymore.
                                                 C
When no one calls it out, it kinda vanishes away.

C Cmaj9
I can't get to sleep at night. The parking lot's so loud and bright.
    Am
The a/c hasn't worked in twenty years.
               Am7 Fmaj7
Probably never made a single person cold,
                                       C
but I can't say the same for me. I've done it many times.

         Cmaj9 Am Am7 Fmaj7 C
Somebody take me home through those Alabama pines.

C Cmaj9
You can't drive through Talladega on a weekend in October.
Am Am7
Head up north to Jacksonville. Cut around and over.
      Fmaj7
Watch your speed in Boiling Springs.
                                      C
They ain't got a thing to do. They'll get you every time.

[Chorus]
         Cmaj9 Am Am7 Fmaj7 C
Somebody take me home through those Alabama pines.
         Cmaj9 Am Am7 Fmaj7 C
Somebody take me home through those Alabama pines.
C Cmaj9 Am Am7 Fmaj7
Ohh Ohhh Ohhh Ohhh Ohhh
C Cmaj9 Am Am7 Fmaj7
Ohh Ohhh Ohhh Ohhh Ohhh

[Verse]
       C Cmaj9
If we pass through on a Sunday, better make a stop at Wayne's.
         Am Am7
It's the only open liquor store north, and I can't stand the pain
Fmaj7
of being by myself without a little help
     C
on a Sunday afternoon.

C Cmaj9
I needed that damn woman like a dream needs gasoline.
Am
I tried to be some ancient kind of man,
                 Am7 Fmaj7
one that's never seen the beauty in the world,
                                          C
but I tried to chase it down... tried to make the whole thing mine.

[Chorus]
         Cmaj9 Am Am7 Fmaj7 C
Somebody take me home through those Alabama pines.
         Cmaj9 Am Am7 Fmaj7 C
Somebody take me home through those Alabama pines.
C Cmaj9 Am Am7 Fmaj7
Ohh Ohhh Ohhh Ohhh Ohhh
C Cmaj9 Am Am7 Fmaj7
Ohh Ohhh Ohhh Ohhh Ohhh

            C Cmaj9
I've been stuck here in this town, if you could call it that, a year or two.
Am
I never do what I'm supposed to do.
              Am7 Fmaj7
I don't even need a name anymore.
                                    C
When no one calls it out, it kinda vanishes away.
C Cmaj9
No one gives a damn about the things I give a damn about.
Am Am7
The liberties that we can't do without seem to disappear
     Fmaj7
like ghosts in the air.
                                   C
When we don't even care, it truly vanishes away.

Watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9C0AjZCHQU I would argue these are the exact chords Jason is playing. Sure there are some hammer-ons he is using, but I'm not about to even attempt to tab this all out.

The chords in your diagram are correct but those aren't the right names. I think that's why people may think it's incorrect.
