[Intro]

C G Am F

[Verse]

      C
Well, you done done me in; you bet I felt it.
  G
I tried to be chill, but you're so hot that I melted.
  Am
I fell right through the cracks.
        F
Now I'm trying to get back.

C G
Before the cool done run out, I'll be giving it my bestest,
                       Am
And nothing's gonna stop me but divine intervention.
                                      F
I reckon it's again my turn
                     D7/F#
To win some or learn some.

[Chorus]

    C G Am
But I won't hesitate no more, no more.
          F C
It cannot wait. I'm yours.
    G Am
Mm, mm, hmm, mm...
                       F
Hey, hey-ey, hey, hey, hey...

[Verse]

C G
Well, open up your mind and see like me.
                                     Am
Open up your plans and, damn, you're free.
                                     F
Look into your heart and you'll find love, love, love, love.

C G
Listen to the music of the moment; people dance and sing.
                       Am
We're just one big family.
                                      F
And it's our god forsaken right to be loved,
                     D7/F#
Loved, loved, loved, loved.

[Chorus]

   C G Am
So I won't hesitate no more, no more.
          F
It cannot wait. I'm sure.
           C G
There's no need to complicate.
            Am
Our time is short.
            F
This is our fate. I'm yours.

C G/B Am G
Tuch-tu...
               F
Skooch on over closer, dear,
                       D7/F# C G/B Am G F D7/F#
And I will nibble your ear.

[Verse]

                   C
I've been spending way too long checking my tongue in the mirror
    G
And bending over backwards just to try to see it clearer.
    Am
But my breath fogged up the glass,
         F
And so I drew a new face and I laughed.

  C
I guess what I'll be saying is there ain't no better reason
   G
To rid yourself of vanities and just Go with the seasons.
Am
It's what we aim to do.
    F
Our name is our virtue.

[Chorus]

    C G Am
But I won't hesitate no more, no more.
          F
It cannot wait. I'm yours.

C G
Open up your mind and see like me.
                                     Am
Open up your plans and, damn, you're free.
                                     F
Look into your heart and you'll find that the sky is yours.
   C
So please don't, please don't, please don't...

           G
There's no need to complicate.
           Am
'Cause our time is short.
                              F D7/F# C G Am F
This is, this is, this is our fate. I'm yours.

This isn't really the way he plays it at all... He has a capo on the 2nd fret, and if you don't own a capo, you can still play it w/out.

Also, check out the version 4 that was just posted recently. It sounds good, just a little lower.

Or just look here:
