We Don't have To Take Our Clothes Off
By: Jermaine Stewart

So this is my first tab ever, and it's actually transcribed from a cover that I
heard. Sounds right to me. But, if something's wrong, please feel free to fix it,
or let me know. Again. My First. Tab. Ever.

The Chords are standard, but one little note. There are a few (E - E) sprinkled in
the there. Those are the low E bass lines played before the F. just sounds better I guess.

Capo 1.

[Intro]

F G Am
F Am G
F G Am
F Am G

[Verse 1]

F G Am
Not a word, from your lips
(E - E) F Am G (E - E)
You just took for granted that I want to skinny dip.
F G Am
A quick hit, that's your game.
(E - E) F Am G (E - E)
But I'm not a piece of meat, still you like my brain.
F G Am
Night is young, so are we.
(E - E) F Am G (E - E)
Let's get to know each other better, slow & easily.
F G Am
Take my hand, let's hit the floor.
(E - E) F Am G
Shake our bodies to the music. Maybe then you'll score.

[Chorus]

Bb C
So come on baby, won't you show some class
Am F G
Why you want to move so fast.
F G Am
We don't have to take our clothes off
    F Am G
To have a good time, Oh no
F G Am
We could dance & party all night
    F Am G
And drink some cherry wine, Uh huh
F G Am
We don't have to take our clothes off
    F Am G
To have a good time, Oh no
F G Am
We could dance & party all night (all night)
    F Am G
And drink some cherry wine, Uh huh
F G Am, F Am G
Na na na na na na na............

[Verse 2]

F G Am
Just slow down if you want me
(E - E) F Am G
A man wants to be approached cool & romantically
F G Am
I've got needs, Just like you
(E - E) F Am G
Give me conversations, good Vibrations through & through

[Chorus]

Bb C
So come on baby, won't you show some class
Am F G
Why you want to move so fast.
F G Am
We don't have to take our clothes off
    F Am G
To have a good time, Oh no
F G Am
We could dance & party all night
    F Am G
And drink some cherry wine, Uh huh
F G Am
We don't have to take our clothes off
    F Am G
To have a good time, Oh no
F G Am
We could dance & party all night (all night)
    F Am G
And drink some cherry wine, Uh huh
F G Am, F Am G
Na na na na na na na............

Lack of accuracy. The reason for the poor rating is due to the tab sounding out of key and the with the current formatting it is very difficult to understand the timing, especially for the introduction.

I believe the real reason for the poor rating is because the cover you heard is in a different key than the original. If I'm correct then the cover you heard was by Ella Eyre and it sounds great to me! 5 stars :)

If you took this from a cover, make sure you put the cover artist's name. It might be Ella Eyre's cover. Also, "still you like my brain" is actually "stimulate my brain." and the first G in the chorus sounds a little off to me. But, if this was Ella's version, it's a pretty good tab otherwise!
