Capo on 4th fret

C C E F
I walked for hours, couldnt work it through, sun found me fading to blue.
      C G C F C G C
And I know what you tell me won't always be true, as I'm making my way to you.

C C E F
Can't see the reason, can't really say, why I hold you then, I pushed you away.
       C G C F C G C
As I'm watching the face of eternity change, I'm making my way to you.

Em Am
There was a time in my life when everything seemed new.
Em Am
No point in changing or rearranging anything I do.
D G
But now I'm spinning out in all directions at once, it's true.

   C C E F
Oh help me darling, help me please, I'm sinking down to my knees.
         C G C F C G C
And I've tried everything but your so hard to please as I'm making my way to you.

For the second C chord, lift the index finger off the B string and emphasize the open B string. Looking it up, the second C chord is actually Cmaj7.

Because the capo is on the 4th fret, the 'usual' hammering becomes easier.

For example, at the start, the C chord, hammer the 3rd string at the second fret, and also the 4th string at the second fret. Hopefully you can pick up the rhythm. When you eventually switch to the G finger position, hammer the 2nd string at the second fret, and the 3rd string at the second fret.

The capo on the 4th fret was the key.

There are other guitars in this song doing other things, likely without a capo, but the main guitar is done this way, I believe.
