Blue Suede Shoes - Jimi Hendrix

Bass by Billy Cox

This version of the song is off of the Hendrix in the West Live Album.

There are two basic blues riffs to this song that are slightly altered each time
they are played. As the first riff is repeated it is some times broken by a short
blues turn around.

First Riff:

G|--------------------------------------------------|
D|----------------------2-------------------4422----|
A|--4---2-4-----4---2-4----4---2-4-----4422---------|
E|-----------0----------------------0-0-------------|

Turn Around:

G|----------------------------------|
D|----------------------------------|
A|-------------------4-4-4-44-44-4--|
E|--2-2-2--22-22-0-0----------------|

G|-----------------------------------------|
D|-----------------------------------------|
A|------------------------4-4-4-44-44-4-2--|
E|--2h3h4-4-4-44-22-2-2--------------------|

Second Riff:

G|----------------------------|
D|--4--2-4-2------------------|
A|-----------4-2---------4----|
E|---------------2-2-0-0------|

Note: There is a bridge in the song that I left out when I tabbed this. I did this because it is just a simple blues bridge. The purpose of this tab is to properly display the somewhat complicated riffs.
EDIT: I added the part in
