Strumming

Hey everyone! this is a more accurate studio version of the song for ukulele. I played around with chords
and made it sound as accurate to the studio version as I could.
VERSES AND INTRO STUMMING PATTEREN ARE D D U D U D U I also threw in some tips on how
to play the verses and chorus.
It sounds much better that way but you can play it however you want! :)

G Am7 Em C (2x)

[Verse]
G
I know you've got a strong heart
Am
It's written in the stars
Em
Behind the castle walls
C
You've hid your light
G
But when you let the past go
Am
Your story unfolds
Em
Look out your window
C
Into the night

G
The darkness can be such a
Am Em C
lonely place on your own
G Am Em C
I'll be your compass so you'll never feel alone

*FOR THE CHORUS, EACH NOTE GETS 2 SHORT DOWNWARD STRUMS AND THEN CHUCK AFTERWORDS*

[Chorus]
G Am
Don't wait for the world to be ready
Em
Who says you can't explore?
C
Who says you can't explore?
G Am
Don't wait for the world to be ready
Em
Find what you're looking for
C
Find what you're looking for

*For this part, each chord gets a longer strum then the chrous chords do and chuck after each one*
G Am7 C
Oh, Oh, Oh

[Verse 2]
G
All the monsters in your head now,
Am
Stare them all down
Em
If they come back around
C
You'll be alright
G
And when the journey gets tough
Am
Just know that you're enough
Em
You're like a warrior
C
Keep up the fight

*For this part, each chord gets a longer strum then the chrous chords do and chuck after each one*

G Am7 C
Oh, Oh, Oh

*For this part you can do the same as the Oh part or just light, long, strums. The chuck is optional but
I'd recommend not doing it super hard, Just a light chuck*

Don't, don't, don't wait
Am
Don't you wait, no
Em C
Don't, don't, don't wait

G

Am
Don't you wait, no
Em C
Don't, don't, don't wait

*For this part, play it sort of quite. Once you get to the chrous it
should be big and loud*

Don't wait for the world to be ready
Em C
