   C - G Am Em
This old guitar taught me to sing a love song,
F G C - Em - Am - C

    and brightened up some days,

This old guitar gave me my lovely lady,

           F G
    It brought us close together,
               C Em Am - C
and I guess it broke her heart,

What a lovely place and a lovely space to be

[Verse]
   C - G Am Em
This old guitar gave me my life, my living,

and all the things you know I love to do.
           F G
To serenade the stars that shine
                C Em Am - C
    from a sunny mountain-side,
F G C - Em - Am - C

I love to sing my songs for you. Yes I do, you know

every time it goes c-em-am-c i just give each chord one beat but hold the am for 2 beats and get rid of that c, it sounds weird going back to the c
