                            Heroin - John Fruscinate
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed by: Ben aka Sir Psycho Sexy
Email: Any complaints to bennybeats1@yahoo.co.uk

Tuning:Standard EADGBE

The main riff is really simple and repeats itself in the verses:

VERSES

e|-------------------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------------------|
G|-------------------------------------------|
D|-------------------------------------------| X2
A|----9--9--9----11--11--11--11--------------|
E|----0--0--0-----0---0---0---0--------------|

e|-------------------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------------------|
G|-------------------------------------------| X2
D|----9--9--9----11--11--11--11--------------|
A|----0--0--0-----0---0---0---0--------------|
E|-------------------------------------------|

Repeat the above as many times as necassary:

CHORUS: Listen to the song to get the rhythm, but
generally each chord is strumed 4 times, then E
is strummed more.

     Bmaj Amaj Emaj

e|----7---------5---------0-----------------------------------|
B|----7---------5---------0-----------------------------------|
G|----8---------6---------1-----------------------------------|
D|----9---------7---------2-----------------------------------|
A|----9---------7---------2-----------------------------------|
E|----7---------5---------0-----------------------------------|

In the verses after the chorus, John uses a little distortion but the notes are the same:

VERSES:

e|-------------------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------------------|
G|-------------------------------------------|
D|-------------------------------------------| X2
A|----9--9--9----11--11--11--11--------------|
E|----0--0--0-----0---0---0---0--------------|

e|-------------------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------------------|
G|-------------------------------------------| X2
D|----9--9--9----11--11--11--11--------------|
A|----0--0--0-----0---0---0---0--------------|
E|-------------------------------------------|

The solo is based on the E major scale played at an ocatve (i.e. at the twelfth fret)

SOLO:

e|--------------------------------------------11-12-14---|
B|-------------------------------------12-14-------------|
G|---------------------------11-13-14--------------------|
D|------------------11-13-14-----------------------------|
A|--------11-12-14---------------------------------------|
E|-12-14-------------------------------------------------|

This is not a John Frusciante song, and it is not called "Heroin". It is called "The cereal Song" and is by Josh Klinghoffer's band Bicycle Thief. John did play on this album as a guest though so he probably did play on the song.

There's a song called heroin by Velvet Underground. I think you're a moron, to the sir who tabbed this.
