Hi everybody. There's a few other versions of the chords of this song on this
site, and although they are good, they have a few obvious mistakes. I'd like to
address all of these errors in this tab, and show what I feel is the correct way
to play this song.

Note: The lyrics I used were taken directly from the booklet with official lyrics
that comes with the "Shadows Collide With People" CD.

Song starts off strumming an E chord.

CHORUS
E Abm A C#m
I'll know her face a mile away
E Abm C#m A
I'll know her face a mile away
E Abm A C#m
I'll know her face a mile away
E Abm C#m A
I'll know her face a mile...

       C#m A
... away

VERSE
Ab A
You'll be there in the slaughter
A#dim7 B
   Freeing me when I'm cornered
        C#m Cdim7
Being arrested by the mind cops
             E F#m6 C#m
They're the only ones worth changing what you do for
      B A
And I try to be in line
F#m6 E
    I guide my fate

              Cdim7 C#m
And what it's good for there's no telling
       B
It's blood
         A
It's a flood

CHORUS
C#m B A F#dim7
I'll know her face a mile away
C#m B Amaj7 A
She'll take me straight through that gate
C#m B A F#dim7
I'll know her face a mile away
C#m B Amaj7
She'll take me straight through that gate

VERSE
Ab A
   Living there in a flower
A#dim7 B
You wouldn't have made it without her
                    C#m
Though she seems to stay in one place
     Cdim7
She grows with your life
    E
So cry for time
       F#m6 C#m
What's slow is fast at the same time
   B A
It comes to life
F#m6 E
    And if it dies
      Cdim7 C#m
You'd never notice cause it
      B A
It slides as it climbs

CHORUS
E Abm A C#m
I'll know her face a mile away
E Abm C#m A
I'll know her face a mile away
E Abm A C#m
I'll know her face a mile away
E Abm C#m A
I'll know her face a mile away

E Abm A C#m
I'll know my pains a life away
E Abm C#m A
I'll know my pains a life away
E Abm A C#m
I'll know my pains a life away
E Abm C#m A
I'll know my pains a life...

       C#m A
... away
