          F#m

      A E B F#m
Gotta clear this field and build that wall

           F#m
He was the prince of the county to the manor born

And when it's gone somebody'll be dead
          A E
Don't you cry a tear for me
          B C#
Because I did what I could just to be free yeah

(last verse uses muffled/muted strum chords until last line, where full chords are played)
          F#m
You gotta lift up every stone now sister
       E B F#m
'cause one is the truth and the other's a lie
          F#m
You gotta lift up every stone now sister
           A E B F#m
'till they tear down the wall to make you cry

         A E B F#m
We gotta clear this field and build that wall

Just a note-- On the original recording, the song is played with the capo at the 2nd fret using traditional open chord shapes. In this case, you would use Em key chord shapes to achieve the original key (F#m). For example, when capo'd at the 2nd fret, Em shape = F#m, D shape = E, A shape = B, etc.
