I Don't Need No Doctor
Performed by John Mayer

Yeah so I had a go at tabbing this, I think I maybe improved some things but leave a
comment to let me know what you think :)

G|-----0h1------------0-----4p0------2p0h2p-----------|
D|----------------------------------------------------|x4
A|----------------------------------------------------|
E|--0---------------------3------3--------------------|

And then another guitar plays this over the top of theses last 4:
e|-------------------------------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------------------------------|
G|-------------------------------/11---------------------|
D|-------------------------------/12-9p7h9/-4------------|
A|-------------------------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------------------------|

And then that's pretty much the whole song, except for the solo and some general
improvisation, but that's just effort so just go for the good old fashion E-Minor Pentatonic.
And there you have it.

I'm pretty sure that the end of the main riff should be
e-------------
B---2---------
G---2-0h1p0h1-
D-------------
A-0-----------
E-------------

Instead of

e-----------
B---2-------
G---2p0h2p--
D-----------
A-----------
E-3---------

Great job. Almost identical to how I've been playing it. I've been playing the dom9sus4 chords like you've shown but I think Scofield might be playing them as dom7sus4/13 voicings, so, for example, instead of:

e---5---
B---3---
G---4---
D---5---
A---x---
E---5---

they can be played as:

e---5---
B---7---
G---7---
D---5---
A---x---
E---5---
