Simple but one of the most beautiful songs we’ve ever heard
Basically in this song only four chords are used repeatedly (except for the bridge)
you can follow them in the pattern given below or as your creativity guides you……

CAPO 3rd Fret

G C Em D
Take out all you’re wasted honour
              G C Em D
Every little past frustration
             G C Em D
Take all of you’re so called problems
           G C Em D
Better put them in Quotations

             G C
Say what you need to say
             Em D
Say what you need to say……………… (4)

G C Em D
Walking like a one man army
              G C Em D
Fighting with the shadows in your head
             G C Em D
Living on the same old moment
           G C Em D
Knowing you’ll be better of instead if you could only

             G C
Say what you need to say
             Em D
Say what you need to say……………… (4)

Am C D
Have no fear for givin in
Am C D
Have no fear for givin all of it
Am C D
You better know that in the end
Its better you say too much
Than never to say what you need to say again

[Verse 3]
              G C Em D
Even if your hands are shakin
            G C Em D
And you’re faith is breakin
            G C Em D
Even as the eyes are closin
              G C Em D
Do it with a heart wide open…………….why

Repeat Chorus……………….(4)…fade out

Sounds great and is a much easier version than what John plays. He seems intent on playing chords at the 10th fret when he could easily of played this!

Cobblers89, Playing on the 10th freth gives it a quite different sound. There's a term for the sound that is heard when you play at 10-12th freths, although I've forgotten what it's called. Put your middle finger very gently on 12th freth and strum, then compare to how it sounds for example on 3th freth.
