8th fret
Ladilala so this is the first tab i've written. It's a simpler way of playing Say by
Mayer and i think it sounds okay for me just playing around with some tabs. :] feel free to
or add around stuff.

CAPO on the 8th fret

e----2-----2----3-----3------2-----2----0---0-------|
B------3----------3-----3------3---3------3---3---3-|
G---2----2---2------2-------2----2---2------2---0---|
D---------------------------------------------------|
A---------------------------------------------------|
E---------------------------------------------------|
This riff is played over and over

"Say" [CAPO 2] [the way i play it]

C F Am
Take all of your wasted honor
Cmaj9 F Am C
Every little past frustration
C F Am
Take all of your so-called problems,
Cmaj9 F Am C
Better put 'em in quotations

C F
Say what you need to say
Am Cmaj9
Say what you need to say
C F
Say what you need to say
Am G C
Say what you need to say
[x2]

Walking like a one man army
Fighting with the shadows in your head
Living out the same old moment
Knowing you'd be better off instead,
If you could only . . .

Say what you need to say [x8]

Dm F G
Have no fear for giving in
Dm F G
Have no fear for giving over
Dm F G
You'd better know that in the end
F
Its better to say too much
           G
Then never say what you need to say again

       Cmaj9 F Am
Even if your hands are shaking
           Cmaj9 F Am
And your faith is broken
Cmaj9 F Am
Even as the eyes are closing
              C F Am
Do it with a heart wide open

Say what you need to say [x24]
