SOMETHING LIKE OLIVIA - JOHN MAYER
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed by: Mariano25
E-mail: marianoa07@hotmail.com

Tuning: Standard

Hi, this is my first tab, I basically took a previous one and improved it as best
I could by listening
to the song a lot. It's based on the acousting version and the video actually helps a lot with hand
positions so check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izkqPdVAdL4

There is a chord in the solo I just didn't know what it was and then the C' I'm pretty sure it's a
Hendrix variation of the C' chord used for blues maninly. Every single chord is
palm muted and slightly
playing the base note. Also there are tons of riff between the chords, like every other JM song.

Lyrics:

Well, Olivia is taken
But a look like hers
Can be found from time to time
Yeah, Oliva is taken
But a look like hers
Can be found from time to time

I'm thinkin something like Olivia
Is what I need to find

There's only one man in this world
Who gets to sleep with her by his side
There's only one man in this world
Who gets to sleep with her by his side

I'm thinkin' something like Olivia
Could keep me through the night

Something like Olivia (x4)

I keep thinkin'
Something like Olivia
Is what I need to find

Now, I'm not trying to steal
No lover away from no one else
No, I'm not trying to steal
No lover away from no one else

If Olivia herself were at my door
I'd have to say
I'd let her in

Something like Olivia (x4)

I keep thinkin'
Something like Olivia
Is what I need
Something like Olivia
Is what I need
Something like Olivia
Is what I need to find

There's quite a bit more to it but this makes it way easier to pick up the hand positions and riffs from the video. Thanks for taking the time to make this, its a tough song to tab. 5*
