This has been very helpful for me - thanks!

I like to play it with A7ths for all the As and to throw in a D7 on the "there runs Mary" part (and same for the other verses).

Folsom prison version would be played with capo on 1 and with the chords C F G instead of D G A

Just played this through as a fairly newbie player. Sounds good - simple in chords, but as many things in life, sometimes less is more.
