[Verse]

D
Snared about her winsome glance
    A D
And mad about the town
D A
Kicking heels has lost its charm and every boy's a clown
G
Leave a trail of dusted boots and choose a toe cap then
   D
Or kiss me here or kick me there
A D
Lovers wont be friends

[Chorus]

    Bm
I'm a plough and you're a furrow
    F#
I'm a fox and you're a burrow
    D
I'm a weed and you are the road
A
You were a man (You were a man)
        D
And I'm alone

[Verse]

D
Sally was a daisy chain
    A D
And Sally was a rock
D A
Sally let her hair hang low and Sally wore a frock
G
Someone saw a local boy crawl along the shore
      D A D
Well, must be someone's son they thought and should've thought some more

[Chorus]

    Bm
I'm a plough and you're a furrow
    F#
I'm a fox and you're a burrow
    D
I'm a weed and you are the road
A
You were a man (You were a man)
    D
I'm alone

[Verse]

D
Sally saw the boy come near
A D
Right beneath the sun
D A
Breathing hard and cockle proud and Sally's heart was won
G
Not a boy she knew at first, not a face she'd seen
   D
Or whispered through her ready lips
      A D
"I'll be the best I've been"

[Chorus]

    Bm
I'm a plough and you're a furrow
    F#
I'm a fox and you're a burrow
    D
I'm a weed and you are the road
A
You were a man (You were a man)
    D
I'm alone

[Bridge]

      Bm G
And I scorched his fingers in her face
D A
Scrubby mitts, saving grace
Bm G
Coughed a liver winked to die
D G
Why don't you lie?

[Verse]

D
Several gloves and half-cocked eyes
      A D
Bring nature to their deviled lives
D A
Win some misses wanting lads aging in their passing fads
G
Leave a trail of dusted boots and choose a toe cap then
D
Kiss me here or kick me there
    A D
And lovers might be friends

[Chorus]

    Bm
I'm a plough and you're a furrow
    F#
I'm a fox and you're a burrow
    D
I'm a weed and you are the road
A
You were a man (You were a man)
D
Alone

For the part that goes, "Why don't you lie" It should be Bm G, not Bm A

At "I'm a fox and you're a burrow" that chord is F#, not A.

This is an exceptionally misleading, shitty piece of bullshit. I will never understand why pole go onto sites like this and think they know so much about music and leave chords for a song that are patently false.... The ****
