[Intro]

A F#m

[Verse]

   A F#m
At least I avoided cliche
        A G# Cdim
Holding nobody's hand along the Champs-Élysées
D
Taking my time
         Dm
Breaking bread, sipping wine
           A Aaug F#m Aaug
Meant for two

        A F#m
It's a beautiful city for saps
     A G# Cdim
But turn out the lights, we're too clever for that

[Chorus]

      Dmaj7 Bm7 E7
And I know, I know we're not in love
     Dm A
But we'd fool this old town
         F#m D E7
With the view of us, thoughts from the tourist
Dm A Aaug F#m Aaug A Aaug F#m Aaug
Alone

[Verse]

         A F#m
We could fall for the streets of Paris
         A G# Cdim
But the Eiffel's a joke and the punchline is me

[Chorus]

        Dmaj7 Bm7 E7
And you know, you know it's not funny
    Dm A
But we'd laugh till it was
         F#m D E7
Just the two of us, thoughts from the tourist
Dm A Aaug F#m Aaug A Aaug F#m
Alone

[Verse]

A7 Dmaj7 Dm7
And I know, I know that we tried
      C#m7 Cm7 Bm7 E7
To survive on a lie we couldn't endure
   Dm
So what's just one more
A F#m D E7
Thought from the tourist, imagining the two of us
Dm A Aaug F#m Aaug A Aaug F#m Aaug Aadd9
Alone?

This is really good the only thing is that instead of Cdim I play Ab7. It's closer to the G# on the fret board so its easier to play and I think it sounds better. Otherwise, this is spot on!
