What's a "power chord" vs. an "open chord"? I still can't find an Eb chord that I can play. All the ones I've seen are either impossible or they sound a bit off.

A power chord is just like and open chord except that you only play the root note (the one that gives the chord the name) and it's fifth (the fifth of C is G, the fifth of D is A and so on)

Sometimes you also double the root note (play it in 2 different octaves)
