Intro
C G F (C, G) 2x

Verse 1
C G
Who is like my child
         F (C G)
Who's so lovely and wild
C G
Oh my little bird
       F C
By the river I have heard

Pre-Chorus
         F C
My lover calls in fall and spring
      (G F) C
She says, keep your eyes on Herons wings
            F C (G
She's comin soon, let's dance and sing
        F) (C G)
For the joy a new life brings

Chorus
C G F (C G)
Dum-dum-dum, Dum-dum-dum, La-da-da-da-da, Dum-dum-dum (2x)

Verse 2
C G
Strong and graceful too
        F (C G)
Is your mother in red and blue
C G
Love I never knew
          F C
Filled my heart when I held you

Pre-Chorus
         F C
My lover calls in fall and spring
   (G F) C
She says, keep your eyes on Heron's wings
             F C (G
She's comin' soon, lets dance and sing
        F) (C G)
For the joy that her life brings

Chorus
C G F (C G)
Dum-dum-dum, Dum-dum-dum, La-da-da-da-da, Dum-dum-dum (2X)

When you play the C Chord, play the open E string on the top, it sounds really cool.

*Note: Josh Garrels uses two Capos.
One on the 2nd fret, covering bottom 5 strings, and one on 4th, covering bottom 4.
This allows him to do the following:

1st - 4th string relative to Capo on 4th fret.
5th string relative to capo on 2nd fret.
6th sting open.

-----0----------------
-----------1----------
---0---0--------------
-2-------2------0--2--
-5-----------0h4---5--
-0-----------------0--

Opposed to:

1st - 5th string relative to capo on 4th fret.
6th string open.

-----0-----------------
-----------1-----------
---0---0---------------
-2-------2-------0--2--
-3-------------2----3--
-0-----------7------0--

Both create the same sound. I just knocked out the extra capo.

Thanks for checking this out!
