Like the times that we spent

Down my face as she turns to go

 A# Am
 Runnin down by the lakeshore
          C F
She did love the sound of a summer storm
    A# Am
It played on the lake like a mandolin
          C F G Dm, C, Am, G
Now it's washing her away once again...whoa, again

Dm, C, F, C

      C
 The boat's steaming in
    G Dm
 I watch the sidewheel spin

And I think about her when I hear that whistle blow
 C
 I can't change my mind
     G Dm F
Oh I knew all the time that she'd go
               G C
But that's a choice I made long ago

[CHORUS]

 Listen to the tears roll
                      F C
Down my face as she turns to go
                  Dm, C, Am, G,
 As she turns to go

This is just my opinion, but in the verses when the chord progression goes F, G, C...I feel it should be F, G, F, C. It sounds like there is an F played after the G for about 2 beats, then switches to a C. Ex:

3rd Line, 1st Verse

F G F C
Hiding out from the rain under the carnival tent

That is just what my ear is picking up. It is subtle.

I agree but it is pretty subtle so I guess that's why I left it out idk. But you are right.
