Josh Ritter - A Big Enough Sky
These chords were figured out by Tom K on Youtube over 3 years ago! I'm just putting them down for people
to play! Thanks Tom!

G Cadd9 Em D
G Cadd9 Em D

G Cadd9
Wanna go where the sweetwater is,
Em D
Wanna go where the air is pure.
G Cadd9
Out 'neath the sky so big,
Em D
I can give my heart to her.

G Cadd9 Em D

G Cadd9
Somewhere along the line
Em D
Our little train jumped the tracks.
G Cadd9
She lost a little faith in me.
Em D
It'll take a little time, gonna get it back.

G Cadd9 Em D

C G
What happened to the river bed?
D D
What happened to the prairie fire?
C G
Can you tell me where the lightning went
D D
Every time that you met my eye?
C G
Didn't notice when the wind picked up, I
D D
Wasn't looking when the clouds rolled in.
C G
If you ever fell out of love,
D D
could you ever fall back again?

G Cadd9
Out where the sweetwater is,
Em D
Out where the air is pure.
G Cadd9
Out 'neath the sky so big,
Em D
I can give my heart to her.

G Cadd9
I've been letting a lot of things slide,
Em D
I've been letting a lot of things go.
G Cadd9
I thought I was the one for you,
Em D
but the truth is, sometimes I don't know.

I can give my heart to her.

G Cadd9
Hey, baby, there's a place I found.
Em D
Still believe that we can stay in love.
G Cadd9
I believe a lot of things, honey,
Em D
When the sky is big enough.
G Cadd9
I believe a lot of things, honey,
Em D
When the sky is big enough.

Great chords. Live, Josh plays it with the capo on 5th fret (see here: https://youtu.be/O4gYsly6U2U)

Just transpose the chords up 5 steps, so verse becomes: C Fadd9 Am G and the chorus: F C G G

Capo 2 here. Probably can't be wrong as long as it sounds right to you. The chord shapes sound right together at any rate. :) Thanks Tom!
