Capo
1st fret
-Snow Is Gone-
-Josh Ritter-
--------------
Basically,
It is just the following chord progression: G C/G
The C/G looks like this: 302013
There are a couple others that are alittle weird, they
will be at the bottom

Capo 1

G C/G G C/G G C/G G C/G
Birds beneath my window dustying their wings upon the lawn
G C/G G C/G G C/G G C/G
I hear them in the morning light last amen to a migratory song
G C/G G C/G G C/G G C/G
They’re never looking round for me—-their eyes are on the sky or the ground below
G C/G G C/G G C/G G C/G etc.
I’d rather be the one who loves than to be loved and never even know

C/G Bmin11
Hello blackbird, hello starling
C Dsus4
winter’s over be my darling
         G C/G
it’s been a long time coming
    G C/G etc.
but now the snow is gone

you were beautiful when I first saw your feathers and confectionery airs
like the earth it up and promised you the stars but you really didn’t care
I sang in exultation pulled the stops—you always looked a little bored
but I’m singing for the love of it—have mercy on the man who sings to be adored

hello blackbird hello starling
winter’s over be my darling
it’s been a long time coming
but now the snow is gone
it’s been a long time coming
but now the snow is gone

I’m underneath your window now—it’s long after the birds have gone to roost
and I’m not sure if I’m singing for the love of it or for the love of you
but I’ve flown a long way honey hear my confession then I’ll go
I’d rather be the one who loves than to be loved and never even know

hello brown one hello blue one
last night’s feathers exchanged for new ones
hello blackbird hello starling
winter’s over be my darling
it’s been a long time coming
but now the snow is gone

Chorus sounds slightly off. I have it as:

Am Em7*
Hello blackbird, hello starling,
C Dsus4
Winter's over, be my darling

Em7: x20030

By the videos, the chorus is different still.

In this case (I don't know that they have names...):
Am: XX0210
slide-Am: XX0530 (just slide down 3 frets)
C: X02010
slide-C: X05030 (slide down 3 again)

Am slide-Am
Hello blackbird, hello starling,
C slide-C
Winter's over, be my darling

Watch a video and try it and I think it will make sense.

Dave is right on the voicings- slid up Am and C shapes makes variants on Bm and D- just as Dylan-esque as the C/C/g pattern.
