Crash This Train - Joshua James

[Verse 1]
C Am F C G C
I hope you find what you're lookin' for when it all comes runnin' down.
C Am F
I hope you find it painted black on your window, or the lips of your lovers
C G
frown. Cuz if it-
C Am F C G
dies in the cold, when the clouds start to roll. Is it-
C Am F C
then that your soul, starts to bleed?

[Verse 2]
C Am F C G C
Have you ever seen the President who killed your wounded child?
C Am F C
Or the man that crashed your sisters plane claimin he was sent of god?
   G
And when she-
C Am F C
died in your arms, late that night in the dark,
G
  did you-
C Am F C
pray to your God to come home?

[Pre-Chorus]
C F C F G
Cuz it ain't fair to say, that these tracks are the same.

[Chorus]
    C C/B Am Am/G F C G
So god if you can hear me crash this train
C C/B Am Am/G F C G
God if you can hear me crash this train.

[Verse 3]
C Am F C
Now a note to the President, and the Government, and the judges of this place.
G C
C Am F
We're still waitin' for you to bring our troops home, clean up that mess you
C G
made.
C Am F C
Cuz it smells of blood, and money, and oil across the Iraqi land.
C Am F C
But it seems so easy here to blind us with your "United We Stand"

[Pre-Chorus]
C F C F G
And it ain't hard to see, that this Country ain't free.

[Chorus]
    C C/B Am Am/G F C G
So god if you can hear me crash this train
C C/B Am Am/G F C G
God if you can hear me crash this train.

[Verse 4]
To the mothers and the fathers who done the best they could.
Cuz raising youngins in a messed up world, it ain't so understood.
So I'll cover my ears, and my eyes, pretend that loves the same.
Cuz with one courts signature, it all becomes erased.

[Pre-Chorus]
C F C F G
And it ain't hard to tell, when its love we sell.

[Chorus]
    C C/B Am Am/G F C G
So god if you can hear me crash this train
C C/B Am Am/G F C G
God if you can hear me crash this train.

God if you can hear me crash this train.
I said God if you can hear me crash this train.
