Don’t Stop Believin’ - Journey
[I'm a keyboard player and created this for my band. I got tired of seeing all the
bad chords on tabs available, so I'm submitting this version - it is very accurate.]

[Intro] E B C#m7 A E B G#m A

[Verse 1]
E B C#m7 A
Just a small town girl, living in a lonely world
E B G#m A
She took the midnight train going anywhere

E B C#m7 A
Just a city boy, born and raised in south Detroit
E B G#m A
He took the midnight train going anywhere

[Interlude] E B C#m7 A E B G#m A

[Verse 2]
E B C#m7 A
A singer in a smoky room, a smell of wine and cheap perfume
E B G#m A
For a smile they can share the night, it goes on and on and on and on

[Chorus]
B/A A B/A E/A B/E E B/E E
Strangers waiting up and down the boulevard
      B/A A B/A E/A B/E E B/E E
Their shadows searching in the night
B/A A B/A E/A B/E E B/E E
Streetlight, people, living just to find emotion
B/A A B/A E/A B E B E A
Hiding, somewhere in the night

[Interlude](half): E B C#m7 A

[Verse 3]
E B C#m7 A
Working hard to get my fill, everybody wants a thrill
       E B G#m A
Paying anything to roll the dice, just one more time

E B C#m7 A
Some will win, some will lose, some were born to sing the blues
 E B G#m A
Oh, the movie never ends; it goes on and on and on and on

[Chorus]
B/A A B/A E/A B/E E B/E E
Strangers waiting up and down the boulevard
      B/A A B/A E/A B/E E B/E E
Their shadows searching in the night
B/A A B/A E/A B/E E B/E E

Bravo!

You got the slash chords correct in the chorus!

I like your version the best of all the ones on here; however, I am a bit confused about the B/E and E/A chords - are those unique chords, like the B/A chord, or are they a quick switch between the first and second? Thanks!

Very accurate, thanks! A few notes as I try to learn this song:
Intro: I'm playing these all barre chords at 7th, 4th, 5th frets. I think the E can be played as E/B as well.
As for the chorus slash chords, for some reason this site doesn't understand E/A and B/E, maybe because those chords are really hard to realize on guitar. I'm just playing them as a barre on D/G/B strings, with an open A or E string as required. THis section is pretty fast moving so I think that works OK. Thanks again!
