Ok... So there are crappy versions of this song on here and there's one REALLY good (yet
complicated!) version as well! Well, I've decided to combine them and make this into
a little easier to play when going solo!

Remember: THIS IS AN ACOUSTIC, UNPLUGGED VERSION OF THE SONG! This is NOT a tab of
how the song is played!

I've tabbed this out to be picked with your fingers.

CAPO ON 2ND FRET!!!! <----- DON'T MISS THIS! IT'S IMPORTANT TO STAY IN KEY WITH THE SONG!

Faithfully - Journey

Intro:

For this riff, it's best when you play it this way: Use your middle, ring, and pinky
to play the D, G, and B strings IN THAT ORDER! That means middle finger goes on D, ring
goes on G, and pinky alternates the notes on B. That leaves your index finger to play
bass notes on the low E string when needed!

Lyrics:

Verse 1:

Highway run
Into the midnight sun
Wheels go round and round
You're on my mind
Restless hearts
Sleep alone tonight
Sendin' all my love
Along the wire

Chorus:

They say that the road
Ain't no place to start a family
Right down the line
Its been you and me
And lovin' a music man
Ain't always what its supposed to be
Oh girl you stand by me
I'm forever yours...faithfully

Verse 2:

Circus life
Under the big top world
We all need the clowns
To make us smile
Through space and time
Always another show
Wondering where I am
Lost without you

Chorus:

And being apart ain't easy
On this love affair
Two strangers learn to fall in love again
I get the joy
Of rediscovering you
Oh girl, you stand by me
I'm forever yours...faithfully

Outro:

Oh, oh, oh, oh
Faithfully, Im still yours
Im forever yours
Ever yours...faithfully

TWO THINGS!

1. The chord progression for the first part of the chorus (E, G#, B) should actually be written E, G#m, B! The tabs are correct, but I labeled it wrong!

2. The way I tabbed the first part of the chorus out, it makes it look like you only play that E, G#m, B progression twice. That is incorrect. You actually play it three times! I should've either tabbed out the progression once and then said to repeat three times or just written it out three times! Wasn't really thinking... But, yeah! You get the idea! Thanks for checking out this unplugged version! And don't forget to rate and comment!

you should change the chords to represent the capo, such as an E being a D. The rest of it seems good

In the time since I made this, I have actually come up with an addition to this unplugged tab of Faithfully. In the song, the lead guitar does plays notes that the piano is not playing, and because this is the lead guitar, it dominates. So, some parts of the song, while accurately representing the general piano notes, may not sound as you remember it because this version is not incorporating the lead guitar's notes. Well, if you can pull this off, here's the way to get those lead guitar's notes in there:

B G#m F# E
E|--5--0---------0---5--0---------0---5--0---------05--------2-----2-
B|--------3--22h3----------3--22h3----------3--22h3----3--3--3--3--3-
G|--2--2--2--22--2---2--2--2--22--2---2--2--2--22--2---2--2-----2---2
D|-2-2--2--2------2-2-2--2--2------2-2-2--2--2-----2--0-0--0--0--0---
A|0---0--0--0-0------------------------------------------------------
E|-----------------2---2--2--2-2----0---0--0--0-0----2---2--2--2--2--

End with this:

B G#m F# E
E|--5--0---------0---5--0---------0---5--0----------0-5-
B|--------3--22h3----------3--22h3----------3--22-3---7-
G|--2--2--2--22--2---2--2--2--22--2---2--2--2--22-2---7-
D|-2-2--2--2------2-2-2--2--2------2-2-2--2--2--------7-
A|0---0--0--0-0---------------------------------------5-
E|-----------------2---2--2--2-2----0---0--0--0-0-------

The same finger configuration as mentioned in the tab is necessary. Your middle, ring, and pinky to play the D, G, and B strings in that order except now the pinky is stretching to play the E string notes.
And the pointer finger plays the bass notes on the E string. Like I said, this is difficult to stretch your hand that far, and then even more difficult to play smoothly, but if you can do it, it sounds fantastic. If you manage to play this (it is possible, don't worry) throw it in between the first chorus and second verse and then repeat it as the outro. Thanks...
