  E
I went walking again
F#m C#m A
I'll go out and forget to tell any of my friends where I'm going
E F#m C#m
I'm just drunk on the side of the road in a ditch when you find me –
        A
I wanna go home, but I'm sick
E F#m C#m A
There's more whiskey than blood in my veins
 C#m
More tar than air in my lungs
       A
The strung out call I make
E F#m
Burned down on the edge of the highway
 C#m A
"I'm sorry for asking, but please, come take me home"

E F#m C#m A

E
I quit talking again
F#m C#m A
But I know you're still listening to see if I sleep or I pierce my skin
E F#m
Needles to the worn out rags
C#m A
The folds in my arms, the sickening black
E F#m
And I haven't been taking my meds
C#m A
Lock all the cabinets, send me to bed
                E F#m
Cause I know you're still worried I'm gonna get scared
C#m A
Cause I'm alone again and I don't like the things I see

E F#m
And I haven't been taking my meds
C#m A
Lock all the cabinets, send me to bed
                E F#m
Cause I know you're still worried I'm gonna get scared again
C#m A
And make my insides clean with your kitchen bleach
E F#m C#m A
But I've kissed enough bathroom sinks to make up for the lovers that never loved me
E F#m
And I know my body is just dirty clothes;
 C#m A
I'm tired of washing my hands
               E
God, I wanna go home

There is no Capo, She plays it in Standard. She only plays E and an inverted A with the 3rd in the bass on the piano. This works to add a little more flavor when playing it solo acoustic. Nice Job! A different way to play it would be: e--0--0-- b--0--0-- g--9--9-- d--9--9-- a--7--0-- E-------- E A

Simple way is to say E, A, C#m, A. If you do the E chord fingering as 079900, then the A would be x09900, then C#m 9x9900, then back to the A. Hope that helps!
