Keith Urban - Wasted Time
Chorded By: Jeff Martin
Tuning: Standard

G Am C F C F C

            G Am
The rain is coming down tonight
C F
I'm smiling looking at this photograph
C F C
I hear that song and I'm flying right back
   G Am
To when we had it made
C F
Every Friday night when the sun went down
C F
We'd be running them streets like we owned the town
C G Am
And I just can't let it go, no, I just can't let it go
C F C F
I wonder if you ever think about it like I do
G
Seven kids on my two lane road
Am
Had the guns on the radio
C F C F
After all this time it still feels, feels so good
             G D C
When I think about those summer nights
                G D C
Singing out the window, on the back roads, Sweet Child of Mine
               G D C
Sipping on the local's spark of light
         Em D C
Ain't it funny how the best days of my life
                    G D C G D C (D)
Was all that wasted time, all that wasted time
       G Am
Out of nowhere, it slipped away
C F
And the rope by the river hangs silently
C F C G Am
And the town that I knew ain't nothing like it used to be I, I can't explain
C F
They took all the color from the picture frame
C F C
And the days got sold to the grid and the game
G Am
But I just can't let it go, no, I just can't let it go
C F C F
I wonder if you ever think about it like I do
G
Seven kids on my two lane road
Am
Had the guns on the radio
C F C F
After all this time it still feels, feels so good
             G D C
When I think about those summer nights
                G D C
Singing out the window, on the back roads, Sweet Child of Mine
               G D C
Sipping on the local's spark of light
         Em D C
Ain't it funny how the best days of my life
                    G D C G D C
Was all that wasted time, all that wasted time
                G D C G D C
Swingin' on the line, living' all that waisted time
              G G G G
Hey, hey, now (solo)
       G
Summer dresses rained on the hood of the car
     Am
Only music that we had was out the left speaker
C F
We were living every second 'til the time ran out
F C
We had nothing but we had it all

(maybe not play guitar here for this chorus)

             G D C
When I think about those summer nights
                 G D C
Sneaking out the window, rolling back roads, your hand in mine
               G D C
We were going' nowhere, we were so alive
         Em D C
Ain't it crazy how the best days of my life
                    G D C G D C
Was all that wasted time, all that wasted time
                            G D C G D C (D)
We were swingin' out on the line, living' all that waisted time
                                  G D C
Hey, you know oh, all that wasted time
                                      G D C
Don't you feel it coming on back now, time, time, time

Love this tab!! But the 2nd C in the intro sounds like its wrong when listening to the recording. I think it needs to be lower than a C... I'm not very good with figuring out chords from songs so I could be wrong, but if it is a different chord, please let me know!
