This is my first tab, and it doesn't seem to agree with any of the other versions
submitted, but this one sounds right to me, so...see what you think.

Chords: D (000232) A (002220) B#m (004432) G (320033)

D A B#m G (2x)

Verse 1:
D A
Grew up in a small town, and when the rain would fall down
B#m G
I'd just stare out my window
D A
Dreamin' of what could be and if I'd end up happy
B#m G
I would pray.
D A
Tryin' hard to reach out, but when I tried to speak out
B#m G
Felt like no one could hear me.
D A
Wanted to belong here, but something felt so wrong here
B#m G B#m G
So I prayed. I could break away.

D A
I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly.
B#m G
I'll do what it takes 'til I touch the sky and I'll
D A B#m G
Take a risk, take a chance, make a change, and break away
D A
Out of the darkness and into the sun,
B#m G
But I won't forget the ones that I love, I'll
D A B#m G
Take a risk, take a chance, make a change, and break away.

Verse 2: (same chords)
Wanna feel the warm breeze, sleep under a palm tree
Feel the rush of the ocean.
Get on board a fast train, drive a large airplane
Far away. And break away.

D A
Buildings with a hundred floors, swingin' and revolving doors
B#m G
Maybe I don't know where they'll take me, but
D A B#m G
Gotta keep movin' on, movin' on. Fly away, break away.

ofcourse it doesn`t.... look, if you wanna play something, you want to recreate the feeling of the song.... if you change the key, it sounds way different....(try Blackmore`s Night - Memmingen without capo!). and it has to sound EXACTLY the same. i don`t know how your D sound the same with any other Minor chord (Am)
