...EVERYTHING I OWN... by Ken Boothe
----------------------..............

*from 'Everything I Own' (1974)*

Intro:

F#9  C#9  B7, B  C#  F# (x2)

Verse 1:

F#                     C#            B             F#    C#
 You sheltered me from harm; kept me warm, kept me warm...
    F#              C#         B            F#    C#
You gave my life to me; set me free, set me free...

Bridge 1:

G#m                      C#    G#m                         C#
 The finest years I ever knew, is all the years I had with you.

Chorus 1:

    B             F#  B       C#
And I would give, any-thing I own;
B           F#       B         C#
 Give up my life, my heart, my home.
B              F#  B       C#
 I would give, any-thing I own,
        B                F#
Just to have you, back a-gain.

Break:

           D#m
If there's someone you know, that won't let you go,
                       G#m
And taking it all, for granted;
You may lose them one day; someone takes them away,
                                C#
And you don't, hear a word they say.

Chorus 2:

    B             F#  B       C#
And I would give, any-thing I own;
B           F#       B         C#
 Give up my life, my heart, my home.
B              F#  B       C#
 I would give, any-thing I own,
        B                F#
Just to have you, back a-gain,
        B                   F#
Just to talk to you, once a-gain.

Break:

           D#m
If there's someone you know, that won't let you go,
                       G#m
And taking it all, for granted;
You may lose them one day; someone takes them away,
                                C#
And you don't, hear a word they say.

Chorus 3:

    B             F#  B       C#
And I would give, any-thing I own;
B           F#       B         C#
 Give up my life, my heart, my home.
B              F#  B       C#
 I would give, any-thing I own,
        B                F#
Just to have you, back a-gain,
        B                   F#
Just to talk to you, once a-gain.
        B                F#
Just to hold you, once a-gain,
        B                   F#
Just to talk to you, once a-gain.

Outro:

F#9  C#9  B7,
B  C#  F# (x2)

Hey, nice tab! For me it was pretty difficult to get those accords but if you transpose the song to -2 you will have it a lot easier. Thanks and keep it on!
