"You Decorated My Life"
set tempo
       G C
All my life was a paper, Once plain, pure and white
         G G
Till you moved with your pen, changin' moods now and then
Till the balance was right
          G C
Then you added some music, ev'ry note was in place
        G G C
And anybody could see all the changes in me by the look on my face

    G C G C B7 Em
And you.... decorated my life....., created a world where dreams are

And you.... decorated my life..., By paintin' your love all over my
  Am D

You decorated my life

*Like a rhyme with no reason in an unfinished song
There was no harmony life meant nothin' to me, until you cam along
And you brought out the colors, what a gentle surprise
Now I'm able to see all the things life can be shinin' soft in your eyes

5 stars for the chords, but I'm going to use this comment box as a platform to debut a point of clarification which for some reason I feel this quietly pretty little song deserves. I realize that every version of the lyrics on God's green earth has written this out wrong: "created a world where dreams are apart", but making one word ("apart") out of what should have been 2 ("a part") has resulted in a casualty - that is, the romantic and only common sensical meaning of the line. In fact, the other day Kenny pulled me aside and said, "You know Rexboxy, it never made sense to keep repeating the typo that way. This loving woman -- she created a world where dreams WERE a part, not a world where dreams were 'apart' as in AWOL!" -- "Right, Kenny," I said, "I know. The world she created was one in which the dreams and reality UNITED; the dreams had come true." Btw, this is not directed toward this chord poster -- thanks for the chords.
