HIGHLIGHTED IN GREEN - Kina Grannis
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

EDIT: This is how it should be played! The chords from the last version were
TOTALLY off! I tried to do it without actually tuning m guiatr down and got some
of the transposing wrong!

This is right now!

This song is from her album 'Sincerely, Me'. Its a great song! Once you've tuned
down its not that difficult either!

Tuning: 1 and a 1/2 steps down.

Chords Used:
E 022100
Am x02210 (she sometimes hammers on the 3rd fret, 5th string aswell!)
D/F# 200230
G 355455
A 577655
E* x799xx (in bridge she uses this E)
D x577xx
Am* 577555 (in the bridge she uses barre Am)

Note: All barre chords can be played open but this is how Kina actually plays
 it

Intro: E Am

Verse:
E Am
 Clock unwinding, she had waited
E Am E
Far too long, sky turning to the night.
             Am
 "Am I alone?" she contemplated.
E Am E Am
"Is this real? Is this right? No"

Chorus:
      E D/F#
If I tried to come back down
                G A
to where I can see it, there's no return.
        E D/F# G
And I know should I be the one to fall
                 A
I might as well beat it.

E Am x2

Verse:
E Am
 Step by step she elevated,
E Am E
Climbing clouds and pulling with all her might.
                    Am
Closing her mind to the ill-fated,
 E Am
 She sighed.

Verse:
E Am
 Could this leap be overrated?
E Am E
Could she prove she had control of her life?
                   Am
She had for so long anticipated
E Am E Am
This test of courage this test of pride.

Chorus:
      E D/F#
If I tried to come back down
                G A
to where I can see it, there's no return.
        E D/F# G
And I know should I be the one to fall
                 A
I might as well beat it, beat it.

Bridge:
     E* D
And I, what I have found
              G
 Is that I am real
             Am*
Free to be just the way I am
E* D
 And if what I am
                    G
 Is troublesome for you
              Am
 Go on and ignore me.

E Am E Am G* A X2
(before the A kina plays the G* then slides up to the 4th and plays A)

Chorus:
      E D/F#
If I tried to come back down
                G A
to where I can see it, there's no return.
        E D/F# G
And I know should I be the one to fall
                 A E
I might as well beat it, beat it, oh no.
