it's perfect. apart from one thing. the fingerpicking is one half step up from the strumming chords. is this supposed to be this way?

Agreed, everything's spot on except that the tuning seems to be a half step up on all the strings (for the album version, anyway). Then you can probably move the fingerpicking section down a half step to adjust.
