-----------------------------------------------

[Intro]

C9 C6sus2 (A9sus4) Am (Am7) Em/B D5/A

[Verse]

C9 C6sus2
You may think that it's funny now
       (A9sus4) Am (Am7) Em/B D5/A
That I got a headache like a shop vac coughin' dust bunnies

C9 C6sus2 (A9sus4)
It's hard to see when it's all red
Am (Am7) Em/B D5/A
And all you hear are just white noises

C9 C6sus2 (A9sus4)
This little one she's a delicate creature
Am (Am7) Em/B D5/A
No safety features to hold her down

C9 C6sus2 (A9sus4)
Girl you've been running on all cylinders
Am (Am7) Em/B D5/A
Pulling the yard and cutting hard

[Chorus]

            C D Em D
But no they won't find us lying down on the ground
       C D Em D
And it ain't at the bar where I am or you are
             C D C D
We'll take a puff on a cigarette and see what we get
     C D Em D
An invigorating fix and a black lung

[Verse]

C9 C6sus2 (A9sus4)
 Don't know much about history
Am (Am7) Em/B D5/A
Don't know much about the shape I'm in
C9 C6sus2 (A9sus4)
There ain't no manual to our minds
Am (Am7) Em/B D5/A
We're always looking baby all the time

[Chorus]

          C D Em D
But no we won't find it rolling around on the ground
       C D Em D
And it ain't at the bar where I am where you are
         C D C D
I took a puff on a cigarette, saw what I get
     C D Em D
An invigorating fix and a black lung

[Verse]

C9 C6sus2 (A9sus4)
You think you're tired, put your face in my place
Am (Am7) Em/B D5/A
We swap faces and I see you're tired
C9 C6sus2 (A9sus4)
It's hard to think with a squashed brain and
Am (Am7) Em/B D5/A
Let's hope that don't leave a permanent stain

C9 C6sus2 (A9sus4)
How can you talk over all that racket
Am (Am7) Em/B D5/A
What's there to feel but totally whacked

C9 C6sus2 (A9sus4) Am (Am7) Em/B D5/A

[Chorus]

 C D Em D
But we don't got time to wallow around in it
          C D Em D
Though it don't look so far away from where we are
        C D C D
I wanna put out the cigarette and leave it behind
C D Em D
Hold you real close, take you by the hand

We'll walk away

C9 C6sus2 (A9sus4) Am (Am7) Em/B D5/A

leave the high e open and dont mute it. makes for a fuller sound. and also for the D in the chorus i think you should keep the high e open to follow the pattern. other than that this is awesome.

I feel the suggested variation of C9 is incorrect, but I haven't figured out what sounds best. Any ideas?

A9sus4 is wrong you slide the c6sus2 up a whole step making it :x5x45x and then into am/am7
