Song: "How Do I Live"
Written by: Diane Warren
As sung by: LeAnn Rimes

Some of the poly chords may be difficult to play on guitar,
but I believe they are the best representation of what is
occuring in the song apart from a bass player. There also may
be a few differences between Trisha Yearwood's version and
LeAnn's however, I believe both songs are nearly the same.

                      "HOW DO I LIVE"

**INTRO**

D A G F#m7
D A G A Bsus

**VERSE 1**

Bsus E B/D#
How do I, get through one night without you
            F#m7
If I had to live without you
             Bsus
What kind of life would that be
       E B/D#
Oh and I, I need you and my arms need you to hold
        A
Your my world my heart my soul
   G#m7 C#m7
If you ever leave
F#m7 G#m7 C#m7 Asus
Baby you would take away everything, good in my life

**CHORUS 1**

Asus D
And tell me now
         A G F#m7 D
How do I live without you, I want to know
         A G F#m7 Bm7
How do I breathe without you if you ever go
         A/C# F#m7 G
How do I ever, ever survive
          Asus D A Bsus
How do I, How do I, Oh how do I live

**VERSE 2**

Bsus E B/D#
Without you, there'd be no sun in my sky
                  F#m7
There would be no love in my life
              Bsus
There'd be no world left for me
    E B/D#
And I, baby I don't know what I would do
       A
I'd be lost if I lost you
   G#m7 C#m7
If you ever leave
F#m7 G#m7 C#m7 Asus

This version works. All the others have multiple inacuracies. If you want to make this a little more fun to play on acoustic, transpose it down a tone into D and capo at 2 - the chord shapes are then easier to add colour (or as my friend calls it "twiddly bits"!!)

This is a very nice tab. It's almost 100% accurate. Only this part is not correct:
A/C# F#m7 G
How do I ever, ever survive
It should be:
Em F#m7 G
How do I ever, ever survive

But the rest is as far as I can tell 100% good! Thanks man
