[Verse 1]
D D+
Oh, let the sun beat down upon my face
     D6 D7
With stars to fill my dreams
D D+
I am a traveler of both time and space
   D6 D7 D
To be where I have been
 D D+
And sit with elders of the gentle race
    D6 D7 D
This world has seldom seen
D D+
They talk of days for which they sit and wait
D6 D7 D
When all will be revealed

Talk and song from tongues of lilting grace

Whose sounds caress my ear
 D D+
But not a word I heard could I relate
 D6 D7 D
The story was quite clear

[Verse 4]
Gm A
All I see turns to brown

As the sun burns the ground
Gm A
And my eyes fill with sand
Gm A
As I scan this wasted land
Gm A
Trying to find, trying to find, where I've been

Oh, pilot of the storm who leaves no trace
D6 D7 D
Like thoughts inside a dream
 D D+
Heed the path that led me to that place
D6 D7 D
Yellow desert stream
 D D+
My Shangri-La beneath the summer moon
 D6 D7 D
I will return again
 D D+
Sure as the dust that floats high in June

 D6 D7 D
Across the sea of years
 D D+
With no provision but an open face
 D6 D7 D
Along the straits of fear

Is this a acoustic version ? The Dm of the post chorus is strange, plus when there are a lot of special chords you must indicate them in the beginning, Ug doesn't always suggest the right ones.

This is an acoustic version. Tricky part is this bit : (Dsus4 D Dm D5 D5 Dmaj9 D9 D6add9 Dsus2#5 Dsus2 Dsus2#5 Dsus2 G5 ) My aim was to put chords to represent the fills at the end of the verse.
