                             Home - Leftmore
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed by: pwdftw

Tuning: Standard

IMPORTANT!: The D chord isn't really a D chord, it's played like a C but moved up
2 frets: [x54030] As far as I know, there isn't really a name for it, so every
time you see D, just make sure to play that chord. At the end of some of the
"D's", take your finger off the B string; [x54000] You should be able to hear when
that happens. Also, everything in brackets is instructions, not lyrics obviously.

Intro:
e|--------------------------------|
B|----3-------3-----0---0---------|
G|--0---0---0---0-2---2---2-4-2-0-|x2
D|2-------2-----------------------|
A|--------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------|

C D G

C D
I miss home. I miss her.

[To transition to the next line, he plays something like this]:
e|----------|
B|--0-0-0-0-|
G|--4-4-2-0-|I'm not positive about this, but it involves the B to A to G.
D|0-0-0-0-0-|He does this at the end of pretty much every other line until the "home" part.
A|----------|
E|----------|

C D
I've been back for over a week.
C D
I changed clothes, I cleaned up, [transition-y thing again]
C D
but I'm forgetting how to speak.
C D
So, I'm waiting in somebody's basement, [transition-y thing]
C D
 testing my vocabulary.
         G
Ohohohohoh

[intro again, minus the G]
C D
 It's cold out. It's snowing. [transition-y thing]
C D
 I'm scared of simple remedies.
C D
Thinking science, not fiction, [transition-y thing]
C D
my heart is still in my body.
C D
Still, I'm waiting in my friend's basement [transition-y thing]
C D
for the ride to come and get me

                G
to take me back home.
             C
I want to go home.
               D
I need to come home.
                 G
Just let me come home.

G
I need to come home.
                 C
Just let me come home.
               D
I want to come home.
                 G
Just let me come home.

G
Just let me come home.
               C
I need to come home.
               D
I need to come home.
                 G
Just let me come home.

G
I'll try to warm up your feet,
                       C
I need your pulse in my sleep.

And, I could finally be free
     D G
if my speech could keep up with my dreams.

G
I'll try to warm up your feet,
                       C
I need your pulse in my sleep.

And, I could finally be free
     D G
if my speech could keep up with my dreams.
