This is a simple sweep picking lick i thought up for 3 string sweeping. It is very
simple and good if you are new to sweep picking

I am new at the guitar, I have no idea what the above means. What does sweep picking mean? What are the 12 15 13 etc even mean? I have taken 10 lessons so far and have not been taught any of the above. Is there a page in ultimate guitar that explains this?
