"Wide Awake On The Voyage Home"
set tempo
LIAM FINN---As tabbed By Brauney
note: I think he is tuned down 1/2 step so that he hits an open E for the first
chord (Eb) but I have it tabbed out for standard tuning.

  Bb/Eb Cm Gm7 Fm7 Bb/Eb G

Verse 1:
on the voyage home through the haze of the night
when i saw your face it was bathed in the light
full sky of stars we collided like cars
in a town of people who always drive drunk

Chorus 1:

    Cm Bb/Eb
and i don't know what to do
G Fm7
by your side i will lie awake
Cm Bb/Eb
tell me love isn't true
    G Fm7
is this just a trick to procreate?

Verse 2
the dawn approach we'll arrive at the shore
and the boat that we boarded will unboard us all
there we will part, to our homes we return
i was bittersweet....to have someone to yearn

Chorus 2 (same chords as first)
for i don't know what to do
by your side i will lie awake
tell me love isn't true
is this just a trick to procreate?

Bb/Eb Cm
everyone living as one
Gm7 Fm7
down in the hall where i need you
Bb/Eb Cm
ill take you into my arms
Gm7 Fm7
thats when i will leave
Bb/Eb Cm
everyone living as one
Gm7 Fm7
one, morning to breathe
Bb/Eb Cm
i knew that this day would come
Gm7 Fm7
its such a permanent feeling X2

The Bb/Eb chords don't sound right to me -- I think they are just Eb. And there should be an Eb (or Bb/Eb, if you prefer) after both of the Fm7 chords in the chorus. Overall, if one is going to go with my Eb premise, then the song is easily played with a capo on fret one, making the Intro/Verse chords: D-Bm-F#m7-Em7-D-F#. Thanks for mapping out the chords to such a beautiful song.
