This is not how Lindsey Buckingham plays this song live and i doubt he has ever played it this way. Lindsey's playing style is of a basic travis picking style. The way Lindsey plays this song is far far easier and logical than this transcription. Although this transcription is good to help us add to the song and advance our playing it feels less comfortable and free flowing to how its actually played.

The transcription is good, however its the same as the ones found in the Fleetwood Mac official books. Somewhere along the line someone has transcribed this song incorrectly and its stuck throughout the years.
In the opening bars Lindsey does not you his fretting hand little finger on the high E string at all. In fact the high E string is not sounded at all until the next section (bar 3) where he introduces the 3rd finger of his picking hand. Prior to this is his just using his thumb, index and 2nd finger to pick the strings. In this version the 3rd finger comes in at bar 3.
I have just submitted the correct tab to this web site using guitar pro. Ive also added the solo he now does to within the song.
