Linkin Park - Bleed it out

Album: Minutes to midnight (2007)

Tuning:

DADGBe (Drop D)

Tabbed by myGartenarbeit (myLinkinPark19HD)

This is actually a pretty cool riff Brad has come up with.
Although I got this one probably not a hundred percent right,my tab comes pretty close to what Brad plays on the
studio version. The strumming pattern is quite different from the one played live. For rhythm and repetations,
feel free to check out my video:

Guitar 1 [distorted]
Guitar 2 [distorted]
Guitar 3 [distorted;delay]

For the main riff you basically need these 2 parts, you only have to look out for when which was part is played.

Part 1

e--9-------9------9-----9--9--9----9---9--9--7-------7-------7----7--7--7--7---7---7---7---7--
B--7--7--7---7--7----7--7--7--7--7---7---------7--7----7--7----7--------------10--10--10--10--
G---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
D---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
D---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Part 2 (you have to combine it with Part 1, you will figure it out yourself)

e--9--9--9--9-------------7--7--7--7------------
B--7--7--7--7-------9-----9--9--9--9-------9----
G--7--7--7--7--7--7---7---9--9--9--9--9--9---9--

This part is played in all choruses.

Bridge

I believe the main riff changes here, not sure about this one but this is how I play it.

e--9--------9-------9-----9--9--9-----9---9--9---------------------------------------------
B--7--7--7----7--7-----7--7--7--7--7----7-------9-------9------9----9--9--9----9-----9--9--
G-----------------------------------------------9--9--9---9--9---9--9--9--9--9----9--9--9--
D------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
D------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At the end of the bridge the following is played (watch out for the rhythm and breakes!):

e--9--9--9--9--9--9--7--7--7--7--7--7-- (from there you go straight into the main riff)
B--7--7--7--7--7--7--9--9--9--9--9--9--
G--7--7--7--7--7--7--9--9--9--9--9--9--
D--------------------------------------
A--------------------------------------
D--------------------------------------

Guitar 2 plays the following part in the bridge:

e--------------------------
B--------------------------
G--------------------------
D--0--0--0--0--2--4--2--2--
A--0--0--0--0--2--2--2--2-- (2x)

End of the bridge

A--0--0--0--0--0--0--2--2--2--2--2--2--4~--
D--0--0--0--0--0--0--2--2--2--2--2--2--4~--

Guitar 3 plays the solo.

e------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

e---------------------------------------------------
B--------------------------9--------12--------14-~--

D---------------------2-----------------------------
A---------------------------------------------------
D---------------------------------------------------

Outro (the main riff and chorus are played again)

At the end a kind of solo kicks in, played with octaves. You play each octave four times.

e---------------------------------- e-------
B---------------------------------- B-------
G---11--13--14--18--16--13--14--9--             G--11~--        {FIN}
D----x---x---x---x---x---x---x--x-- (2x) then D---x---
A----9--11--12--16--14--11--12--7-- A---9~--
D---------------------------------- D-------
