[Fingerpicking intro]

Em G D Am

Em G D Am

[Rock intro]

Em G D Am
Em G D Am
Em

[Verse]

            Em
In this farewell
             G
There’s no blood
            D
There’s no alibi
Am Em
‘Cause I’ve drawn regret
           G
From the truth
        D
Of a thousand lies
Am C
So let mercy come
           D
And wash away

[Chorus]

           Em
What I’ve done
      G
I'll face myself
D Am Em
To cross out what I’ve become
  G
Erase myself
D Am Em
And let go of what I’ve done

[Verse]

         G
Put to rest
            D
What you thought of me
Am Em
While I clean this slate
          G
With the hands
       D
Of uncertainty
Am C
So let mercy come
           D
And wash away

[Chorus]

           Em
What I’ve done
      G
I'll face myself
D Am Em
To cross out what I’ve become
  G
Erase myself
D Am Em
And let go of what I’ve done

[Solo]

(improvise however you will)

Em G D Am

Em G D Am

[Bridge]

               Em
For what I’ve done
      G
I’ll start again
D Am Em
And whatever pain may come
  G
Today this ends
D Am
I’m forgiving what I’ve …
Em
Done

[Chorus]

      G
I'll face myself
D Am Em
To cross out what I’ve become
  G
Erase myself
D Am Em
And let go of what I’ve done
Em G D Am Em G
                        What I’ve done
D Am Em
Forgiving what I’ve done

You'll have to forgive me if this is slightly inaccurate; this is the first tab
I've put up on this site, and I'm also a beginning guitar player of two years.
Therefore, if there are any changes that need to be made, please notify me at my
e-mail address (DaGrizzlyBare14@comcast.net), and I will get it cleared up right
away. Thanks! :)

Maybe those are the chords without a capo. However, this was all I knew, and this is what I came up with. When I asked for forgiveness as a beginner, I didn't ask to blatantly be told that I did everything wrong. This sounds somewhat decent with a capo. With some minor fast chord changes at the end of the second CHORUS and the solo improvisation Linkin Park did in their song, it would be just about perfect for chord playing. My apologies if it wasn't convenient enough for you "master" guitarists who don't need a capo. This is what I could do.
