This is officially my first attempt at creating a tab on this site, so here goes...

"Further" by Longview - Played on Capo Third Fret - I have used the regular names for
the chords, just obviously use the conventional shapes but play them as if the 3rd fret
is the top of the guitar.

Verse 1

Em7 Caad9 G G/F#
And the same when Autumn comes, Cold air I breathe in my lungs

Em7 Caad9 G G/F#
Something's new but nothing's changed, Familiar feelings just the same

Soon too the warm air comes by, Lie back and stare at blue skies

Thinking back away and from, When I'll be here and you'll be gone

Pre Chorus

Further, further, further, further, further, further from me

Intro Pattern x2

Chorus

God's love will save our light and we'll come shining bright

God's love will save our sun and thy will be done

Intro Pattern x 1

Verse 2

Em7 Caad9 G G/F#
I think now of summers high, And reminisce of past times gone by

Em7 Caad9 G G/F# Em7
Only remembered now in, Earth, trees, the stars that have been there

         Caad9 G G/F#
And there forever held, Kept safe by memories never told

Em7 Caad9 G G/F#
But felt if you went by, In never changing sky

Pre Chorus

   Caad9 D Em7 Caad9 D Em7 Caad9 D G G/F#
And we'll be gone, We'll be gone, Further, further, further, further,

Caad9 D
further, further

Chorus

God's love will save our light and we'll come shining bright

Em7 Caad9 G G/F#
God's love will save our sun and thy will be done
