Artist: Lucero
Song: Slow Dancing

Em
Smoking the cigarettes more than I should

C
My hands wont stop shaking and that can't be good

Am
I would forget you if I only could

C
Think about anything else

Bridge:
Em C/G-high C/G (this needs work)

Em
Slow dance at the end of the night

C
Everyones looking who cares if its right

Am
You're head on my chest, I held you so tight

C
Don't care what they had to say

Em
My feet were to drunk to keep step in time

C
But we held fast and we made it through fine

Am
You smiled a lot

C
Hell, you smiled a lot

Bridge

Em
Chairs up on tables and mopping up floors

C
And we're still dancing just like before

Am
You held me tight

C
Ah, you held me tight

Em
Light from the disco ball surrounds us with stars

C
And I looked like trouble right from the start

Am
You told me so

C
Hell, you told me so

Bridge

Em
Smoking the cigarettes more than I should

C
My hands wont stop shaking and that can't be good

Am
I would forget you if I only could

C
Think about anything else

Em
Well that slow dance didn't last very long

C
So now I guess I'll be moving on

Am
It was nice

C
Goddamn it was nice

Thanks for tabbing this, as my band wants me to learn it to play at an acoustic set.

I find that you get that brighter sound out of the whole song that the recorded version has if you use your pinky finger to hold down the low e string at the third fret on most of the chords, it seems to work with all of them in it.

Thanks for the tab!

He also does an addition on the C and Am chords on both the verse and the bridge to accompany the strumming. This addition would be the 4th finger on the 3rd fret of the B string.
