Lucifer charted with this song in The Netherlands in 1975,
after performing in England on the BBC program: 'Opportunity Knocks'.
The main figure in the band was singer/song writer: Margriet Eshuijs.
In 1977 she became a solo artist and formed her own backing band.
Margriet and her band are still going strong today (2014),
and are very popular in The Netherlands.

These chords come close, yet, a few corrections as I found the chords (also in the words there are a few errors):

I corrected in R-1 'The sun' to 'The sign', and the 1st E-chord in all 3 verses to an E7.
The suggested 'C-chord' for an 'Am-chord' and 'mrs. Hanley' for 'mrs. Hedley' are not right!
