INTRO:
G F G F (repeat several times)

VERSE 1:
G
Some boys kiss me, some boys hug me
F G
I think they're O.K.
G
If they don't give me proper credit
F G
I just walk away
G
They can beg and they can plead
F G
But they can't see the light, that's right
G
Cause the boy with the cold hard cash
   F G
Is always Mister Right, 'cause we are

CHORUS:
C D D Em
Living in a material world
    C D G
And I am a material girl
G
You know that we are
C D D Em
living in a material world
    C D G
And I am a material girl

VERSE 2:
G
Some boys romance, some boys slow dance
F G
That's all right with me
G
If they can't raise my interest then I
F G
Have to let them be
G
Some boys try and some boys lie but
F G
I don't let them play
G
Only boys who save their pennies
F G
Make my rainy day, 'cause they are

CHORUS
G F
Living in a material world [material]
G F
Living in a material world
(repeat)

VERSE 3:
G
Boys may come and boys may go
F G
And that's all right you see
G
Experience has made me rich
     F G
And now they're after me, 'cause everybody's

CHORUS
G
A material, a material, a material, a material world
G F
Living in a material world [material]
G F
Living in a material world
(repeat and fade)

Clearly wrong. Wrong key and wrong chord progress. the song is obviously in C and not in G and there's no mention of a capo.

What capo? And if you're so sure of yourself, why don't you write your own tab?

I meant that there would have to be a capo on the guitar to play along to the original, but even then it's wrong. I don't need to write my own tab. The third version here is correct.
