-- VERSE --

      Db
"It's magic", she says to me.

   Gb Db
My hand to her waist as she approaches sweetly.

                                                Bbm
It's enough when I see that look in her eyes,

                      Ab Gb
It's enough for me to paralyze.

-- CHORUS --

                        Ab
Oh, I'm waiting for the breakdown.

                              Gb
Well nothing feels good being under the gun.

                        Ab
Oh, I'm waiting for the breakdown.

-- INTERLUDE --

Db Gb Db Gb

-- VERSE --

      Db
"It's tragic", she says to me.

  Gb Db
A song in the air, we're together floating.

                                          Bbm
What I miss everyday since our goodbye,

                     Ab Gb
was enough for me to realize.

-- CHORUS --

                        Ab
Oh, I'm waiting for the breakdown.

                              Fm Gb
Well nothing feels good being under the gun.

                        Bbm
Oh, I'm waiting for the breakdown.

Ab/C Db Fm Gb
Is it ever going to come?

                        Ab
Oh, I'm waiting for the breakdown.

                              Fm Gb
Well nothing feels good being under the gun.

                        Bbm Ab/C Db
Oh, I'm waiting for the breakdown.

-- INTERLUDE --

Ebm Db Bbm Ab

-- BRIDGE --

          Ebm
So take care what you wish for, for it may come true.

          Ab/C Db
But that September sky, how it whispered "I love you".

    Ab Bbm Gb Ab
But I couldn't take it any longer, no I couldn't stand.

          Ebm
But the nights brought sparks and the sparks brought flames,

        Ab/C Db
And you had to be sure this wasn't one of those games.

    Ab Bbm Gb Ab
But I'm going to show you if you could just give me tonight.

  Gb
Tonight...

-- VERSE --

      Db
"It's fragile", she says to me.

    Gb Db
The hair in her eyes, she removes it smiling.

                                              Bbm
There's a wound that I know this song could mend,

                           Ab Gb
A step in time for us will never end.

-- CHORUS --

                        Ab
Oh, I'm waiting for the breakdown.

                              Fm Gb
Well nothing feels good being under the gun.

                        Bbm
Oh, I'm waiting for the breakdown.

Ab/C Db Fm Gb
Is it ever going to come?

                        Ab
Oh, I'm waiting for the breakdown.

                              Fm Gb
Well nothing feels good being under the gun.

                        Bbm Ab/C Db
Oh, I'm waiting for the breakdown.

Here's a tip: Mae recorded everything from the Everglow on a half step down. In that case, to play the song accurately, one should tune their guitar a half step down, then transpose this tab a half step up.

That's an excellent tip. I figured out the chords on the piano, but for guitar, transposing a half step up and tuning down a half step would help a lot. For those who might have missed it, there's a "Transpose Song" menu at the top of the page.
