Dm F Am A#
Everybody gets high sometimes, you know
Dm F Am A#
What else can we do when we're feeling low?
Dm F Am A#
So take a deep breath and let it go
Dm F Am A#
You shouldn't be drowning on your own

[Pre Chorus]

-Now just strike one time and let it sound-

            Dm
And if you feel you're sinking,
       F Am A#
I will jump right over into cold, cold water for you
             Dm F
And although time may take us into different places
       Am A#
I will still be patient with you
                 C
And I hope you know

[Chorus]

-Now play it with rhythm: Down Up and Stop-

              Dm F Am A#
I won't let go
             Dm F Am A#
I'll be your life-line tonight
               Dm F Am A#
I won't let go
             Dm F Am A#
I'll be your life-line tonight

[Verse]

Dm F Am A#
Cause we all get lost sometimes, you know?
Dm F Am A#
It's how we learn and how we grow
Dm F Am A#
And I wanna lay with you 'til I'm old
Dm F Am A#
You shouldn't be fighting on your own

[Pre Chorus]

            Dm
And if you feel you're sinking,
       F Am A#
I will jump right over into cold, cold water for you
             Dm F
And although time may take us into different places
       Am A#
I will still be patient with you
                C
And I hope you know

[Chorus]

Now play it with rithm: Down Up and Stop
              Dm F Am A#
I won't let go
             Dm F Am A#
I'll be your life-line tonight
               Dm F Am A#
I won't let go
             Dm F Am A#
I'll be your life-line tonight

So after you do the mute on Dm and Am, hit the bass note of the F and A# and let them ring a bit. So 1 on the E string (you don't play this one at all in your tab), and 1 on the A string.
