Strumming
There is no strumming pattern for this song yet. and get +5 IQ
Mando Diao
Ode To Ochrasy
Long Before Rock'n'Roll
Live at TRL Germany

there is no riff, it's only one guitar that plays the chords,
it shouldn't be difficult to get the strumming pattern (or if you don't get the right
just think of one;)

Tuning: standard, EADGBE

Chords you'll need:

      Em(barre): Cm(barre): Am(barre): G:
    Am: Em: D7: B:
e|-----7-----------3-------------3---------3-----2-------------0----2----2-|
B|-----8-----------4-------------3---------0-----3-----1-------0----1----4-|
G|-----9-----------5-------------3---------0-----2-----2-------0----2----4-|
D|-----9-----------5-------------5---------0-----0-----2-------2---(0)---4-|
A|-----7-----------3-------------5---------2----------(0)------2---------2-|
E|-------------------------------3---------3-------------------------------|

[Intro]

the song starts on Em barre, then just one time Cm(barre), then to Am(barre) then to G
then to D.
You'll need to listen to figure out thw thing with the Cm-change from Em to Am.

[Verse 1]

Em Am
She said I like just lying on the bed
            G D
Beneath the ceiling with her head upon my pillow
        D7
There's nothing as I'd rather do
Em Am
And I said I'd rather do it on the couch
          G
Or in the kitchen where about
            D
You seem so down child
     D7
Like nothing could destroy your world

[Chorus]

Em
But I never ever wanted to
Am
You never ever let me to
G D
I would but you must wait 'til it gets dark
Em
So what is it that you want me to
Am
I can't make it even good for you
G D
So play me some from 1954
B
Long Before Rock 'n' Roll

Yeah, before Rock 'n' Roll

Before Rock 'n' Roll

[Instrumental]

Em Am G D

[Verse 2]

Em Am
Well later she came with flowers in her arms
           G D
And we can do it in the car my brother owns it
    D7
The driver's seat is made for us
Em Am
And I said I'd rather grab a bite to eat
           G
There is a diner down the street
              D7
Let's take it easy

And join this lovely harmony

[Chorus]

Em
But I never ever wanted to
Am
You never ever let me to
G D
I would but you must wait 'til it gets dark
Em
So what is it that you want me to
Am
I can't make it even good for you
G D
So play me some from 1954
B
Long Before Rock 'n' Roll

Yeah, before Rock 'n' Roll

Long Before Rock 'n' Roll

Long Before Rock'n'Roll

Yeah, yeah, yeah,

[Outro]

Em Am G D

end on D

the intro is not just
Em Cm Am G D

but it's
Em Cm Am Em Am G D

the Em Cm Am thing is the unplugged/chord version of the first part of the riff in the album version of the song
