Intro:
G | C | Am | D
G | C | Am | D
G | C | Am | D
G | C | D | G

       Em
We've paid in hell since Moscow burned
    G
As Cossacks tear us piece by piece
     D
Our dead are strewn a hundred leagues
        C
Though death would be a sweet release
          Em
And our grande armee is dressed in rags
    G
A frozen starving beggar band
      D
Like rats we steal each other's scraps
 C D D G
Fall to fighting hand to hand

 C
Save my soul from evil, Lord
     G Em
And heal this soldier's heart
       G Am
I'll trust in thee to keep me, Lord
     C G C Am D
I'm done with Bonaparte

G | C | Am | D
G | C | Am | D
G | C | D | G

      Em
What dreams he made for us to dream
     G
Spanish skies, Egyptian sands
       D
The world was ours, we marched upon
      C
Our little Corporal's command
      Em
And I lost an eye at Austerlitz
     G
The sabre slash yet gives me pain
    D
My one true love awaits me still
C D D G
The flower of the aquitaine

 C
Save my soul from evil, Lord
     G Em
And heal this soldier's heart
       G Am
I'll trust in thee to keep me, Lord
     C G C Am D
I'm done with Bonaparte

G | C | Am | D
G | C | Am | D
G | C | D | G

   Em
I pray for her who prays for me
   G
A safe return to my belle France
      D
We prayed these wars would end all wars
    C
In war we know is no romance
       Em
And I pray our child will never see
    G
A little Corporal again
 D
Point toward a foreign shore
C D D G
Captivate the hearts of men

 C
Save my soul from evil, Lord
     G Em
And heal this soldier's heart
       G Am
I'll trust in thee to keep me, Lord
     C G C Am D
I'm done with Bonaparte

Lack of accuracy. Rhythm guitar Should be capo fifth fret so song is in key of C. Then intro chord shape sequence is G Em C D, G Em C D, G Em C D, G Em C D. Repeat same beginning chords between the verses. He left out 4th line between the verses. MK plays without capo in key of C. Verse chord shapes are correct when capo is on 5th fret. I do appreciate him taking the time to post this as the basics are correct.
